Thoughts on LA so far:

the weather is nice. I suspect that’s 70% of the draw here, realistically

it feels more precarious to walk around due to cars

everything is unfortunately car centric

feels like a big wasted opportunity to make a more livable city, but cars

it seems unlikely that the downsides (carchosis, rhymes with psychosis) are capable of being remedied in anyone’s lifetime
