Yesterday I made a really good dinner. I got like at least 3 wow's from Rob and it may have been one of my favorite dinners I've ever made.

  • Marinated chicken tenders in 1/4 cup red wine vinegar, 1/4 cup olive oil, 1/4 soy sauce, 2 tsps italian seasoning, s+p
  • Grilled chicken and corn on the cob
  • Cut the corn off the cob and mixed it with butter and s+p
  • Served the chicken and corn with a simple salad: farmer's market lettuce, cherry tomatoes, parmesan, s+p with a homemade dressing of 4 tbsps olive oil, 2 tbsps balsamic vinegar, 1 tbsp dijon mustard, 1 tbsp maple syrup, ~1/2 tbsp italian seasoning and s+p

We also had some watermelon + basil + salt salad that Rob made. 10/10 summer dinner. We need to do more farmer's market ingredient dinners going forward
