What is remarking 2
I spend a lot of my free time working on markwhen and things related to markwhen, mostly meridiem. However - I do not personally make or need timelines that much. I'm super glad and fortunate that there are those who make or need timelines, and I will continue to be happy to support them and their use cases.
But markwhen can and should be a lot more than just gantt charts. Like I say on the homepage, markwhen is a journal language that can represent any number of time-based things.
Remarking is the first foray into seriously using markwhen for something else, in particular, blogging. What is a blog but a collection of timestamped posts?
Why blogging? Because I'm not good at communicating updates about markwhen or my work in general, and I wanted a serious use case for myself to use markwhen and Meridiem. It's important that I am a user of my own products. So, I thought, I should use markwhen to blog about what I'm working on. And so here we are.
I'll have more to say about why I like remark.ing and why I think it has a lot of potential in its own right.
