Carrot muffins: good base. I used the food processor to try and easily grate the carrots and I regret it. I should actually put in effort to grate them next time. Modifications I made to recipe: pumpkin spice mix instead of the specific spices (good!), no whole wheat flour (ain't nobody got whole wheat flour), no raisins (we're out and Rob doesn't like them but I think these would be better with the raisins).

Dessert: brownies. Dinner: shrimp scampi and a simple salad. Rob is currently eating thirds aka it turned out well. I added cherry tomatoes which was a great addition and I should use parsley next time. Recipe was fine — for shrimp scampi you just need guidelines

Saturday morning walk debrief: the mountains were out and the sunrise made them look very pretty. My new travel mug doesn't leak and also keeps my coffee hot so I'm calling it an improvement
